Proso reads your Shopify store, forecasts every variant from your own sales, and prices every stock-out in lost revenue per week, worst first. Then it turns the answer into one decision per line: order or make this much, by this date. It issues the purchase order, tracks it, and receives it when the stock lands. Every number is editable.

We planned reorders and production runs for a D2C apparel brand in spreadsheets for years. Every Monday: export, pivot, squint, guess, order, hope. The guesses weren't the problem. The invisible cost of the sizes we'd already sold out of was.
Behind this: five years in D2C and retail operations, an MBA, and time in consulting. Big companies pay serious money for planning tools that answer one question: what is being out of stock costing us, and what do we do today? Shopify brands deserve that answer too.
Proso is that Monday, automated. It tells you what being sold out costs, suggests what to do about it, does the paperwork, and gets out of the way when you know better.
NupurProso never asks for anything Shopify already knows: not your currency, not your variants, not your suppliers. Install to first order in minutes, not months.
See what sold and what's out. Decide what to order or make. Issue it, track it, receive it. Then do it again tomorrow, with a better lead time than yesterday. The Daily Brief and the digest email keep score; imports bring your history in.
Every out-of-stock variant is losing revenue at its real run rate. Proso prices it per week, in your currency, and sorts the plan worst-first, so the first thing you see each morning is the most expensive problem you have. The Daily Brief and the digest email carry the same number.
Forecasts are opinions. Yours wins. Each row walks its order week by week, per size: stock on hand, what's already arriving, what it sells over the lead, then enough to cover the target. If you know something the data doesn't (a collab drop, a supplier holiday), type over the number. Proso keeps your override and says so.
Pushed lines pool per supplier until you issue them. Issuing gives the order a number, a PDF and an Excel sheet, and a place on the Tracker. Receive it in part or in full, or leave it: the hourly sync spots the stock landing in Shopify, closes the order, and learns your real lead time. Add to an issued order and it becomes a revision, not a second PO.
Most inventory apps stop at finished goods. Proso goes all the way down when you need it to: make or buy per product, bills of material per colour, wastage, minimum order quantities, and a verdict on every make row: materials in hand, landing on a date, short by this much, or not linked yet. The Material Planner orders the shortfall from the same table. Buy everything? You'll never see any of it.
Every planner here forecasts. The differences are what the price does as you grow, whether a stock-out has a price tag, and whether making things is built in. Figures from public App Store listings and pricing pages, re-checked 2026-09-14. The full table, sourced, says where each one is better.

Proso reads products, stock and sales from Shopify, so there is nothing to map. What you bring is the part Shopify doesn't have: suppliers, open orders, materials. Three doors, one preview, one undo.
Received orders you import count as observed lead times, so the plan is calibrated before you place a single order in Proso. Nothing is overwritten, and one click undoes the whole import.
No quote calls. No revenue gating. No per-order fees. No renewal surprises.* Proso exists to make decisions easier for small and mid-size brands. Surprise pricing would be a strange way to start.
Both plans: 30-day free trial, cancel anytime in Shopify. Founding 25: the first 25 stores keep their founding price for life. It never rises, even when the published price does. How the billing works →
* Proso bills through Shopify, and Shopify requires your explicit approval for any price change. Not a promise. Plumbing.Proso is in final testing ahead of its Shopify App Store listing. Leave your email and you'll get one message when it's live, plus founding pricing, locked for as long as you're a customer.
You're on the list. One email when it's live.
